2014 Zetec S Ecoboost - Headlights

Featured Replies

Cool blue intense are very good, I have them and am impressed! Great improvement over stock!

Does the whole headlight have to come out to change the bulbs like on previous models or is it easily accessible on the MK7.5?

No the whole light comes out again! It's a bit of a pain (one of mine wouldnt come out). Not too bad when it works though :) most people have no issues.

okay thanks, wish they made it easier rather than having to remove the whole fixture.

I guess if you tried without removing it you would have offset lights and they wouldn't be balanced, so its probably best that we have to remove them ecerytine haha

I did manage to change one of mine in-situe (on of the screws is stripped at wont come out). Was a huge pain though due to the weird way the bulbs fit

no when you open the bonnet you will see rubber bungs on the back of the headlight each one is behind the bulb all you need to do is remove that and take the bulb out the left hand is abit tricky as your fuse box is in the way i just took the fuse box lid off and it made it alot easier.

If you managed to do both without removing the headlight that's probably the best way to do it :). Taking the headlights out can make it easier though so you can see what you're doing a bit better.

Has anyone ordered any H15 bulbs from this site:

http://www.ledperf.co.uk/xenon-bulbs-effect-h15-=c=-139_268.html

If you have just wondered which you'd gone with and which H7 bulbs you'd also chosen.

Want to upgrade to a whiter light but want everything to match and don't want to compromise too much on visibility :D

I have Osram Cool Blue Intense for my H7s. They're a bit brighter than stock but don't sacrifice lifetime.

I've heard that the Nightbreaker unlimiteds are great, but they last a bit shorter I think due to the increased brightness.

I wouldn't go for upgrade H15s, I havent found any that are road legal :P but that's down to you.
