Slight Judder On Low Revs???

Featured Replies

When you pull off in 1st and on around 2k revs it seems to judder or like something wants to 'kick in'

then it will just go when your a bit over, mainly 1st being lower gear.

The only way to say is its like you are in-between something and your holding it back untill you go over

the part on the revs, but in 1st gear you tell it more say when in traffic and stop and start.

Thanks

No,1.6ti-vct,goes great just like at 2000 revs im in-between like a power increase or something and then it kicks in.

Read on the net that something about 'power band' at 2000 revs upto 6500 or something.

If thats it i keep going off and on it at 2000 revs, when it kicks in it don't half pick up.

Must be me coming from corsa d to this car,so many dam things to get use of and i try and

read a lot on here see if the answer pops up.

Sounds like the clutch to me. My dad's 2012 A4 Avant has just had the clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty as the car was juddering when pulling away in 1st gear.

Not forced to be that but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Well its more like a power in-crease just over 2000 revs and when in traffic because you go slow and revs

higher it keeps trying to kick in,had the clutch judder on my old corsa, just wanted to know if its normal.
