Cruise Control In Non Titanium Fiesta's.. Is This Possible?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2004 fiesta and am thinking of upgrading to a newer version because my current car has served me so well.

Most of the cars that I am looking at in the 2009-2012 range are not the Titanium model but having had the use of a hire car for the past two months and being spoiled by CC it's now something that is a must for me.

As I'm looking in the second hand market, looking for a titanium at the right price with five doors and the right size engine really narrows down my options and I wonder if I can find the car that I want and retrofit the CC to it?

I know that it's apparently technically possible and there was a guy that frequented the forums called Nathan Woodbridge who used to offer this service but is no longer doing so.

I know that to the outsider a better solution would be to find another car but because of a variety of reason including living in the city of London, cost of insurance, a wife who will only drive smaller cars etc I'm focusing on trying to meet a lot of criteria.

Any advice on this would be very welcome.

They seem to have some good deals on titanium fiestas on auto trader from iro of 4.5k for a 2009 model, if you've got something specific in mind, why compromise?

That sounds like a really good price assuming the car is ok and not too high mileage. I sold my 09 Titanium 1.6 about 7-8 months ago to We Buy Any Car for about £5850, so £4500 for a similar car (even with a different engine) is a really good deal.
