Ford Fiesta Mk4 Back Door Behind Passenger Stuck Locked

Hi, my back door is stuck locked on the passenger side my car is a mk4 97 fiesta. My drivers door lock is also a bit broke it will lock but won't unlock so would the problems be connected to each other and anyone have any suggestions how to get the back door unlocked.

    Likely 2 different problems. Can the rear door be opened from the outside? If so the child lock needs unsetting in the back end of the door. If you cannot open it at all then it will probably mean removing the door trim from inside to access the locking mechanism to find out what is wrong.

    Driver's door may well be fixed with a squirt of WD40 into the lock or it could be a worn key. Try the spare key if you have one.

    No it can't be opened from the inside so looks like I'm gonna have to strip it and see what's wrong, any thing I should be looking out for when I have it stripped?

    I'll try the WD40 in the front lock aswell because I've no spare key got the car cheap ;)
