Its been a month exactly (40 mins ago) since I collected the car and they've already taken their first payment instalment. Tomorrow I phone 'em up and pay off the balance, cheeky sods :)

    It's not unusual for DDs to come out at midnight or close to it. I also do mobile banking and my regular payments to all sources regularly leave at this time. Not got payments to ford set up yet

    On a positive payments in (bacs) also get done in the small hours :)

    They run a business, Nothing cheeky about taking the correct amount on the correct date. The cheek comes when your bank charges you for going overdrawn on a day when your pay goes into the account an hour after the payment that puts you overdrawn. Lloyds used to do that.
