I am thinking of buying a car dashboard windshield suction mount for my iPad and

would like to know if the suction mount which attaches to the dashboard plastic islikely to leave a mark on the dashboard. Any help would be appreciated.

    I wouldn't bother with a suction mount especially for an iPad, have a look at Brodit mounts that clip onto the dash. Suction cups might not work on the dash due to the different textures.

    Yup I agree with Mark, and another vote for Brodit. I have one for my Satnav and iPhone. Not the cheapest but, IMO, without doubt the best. IPhone on the left in the pic, and you can just make out the satnav on the a-pillar post-55595-141866274506_thumb.jpg
