hi have the ford focus 2002 the cluster unit is playing up dials dropping to zero any help on this issue thanks mike

its sometimes the temp gauge and fuel gauge then sometimes all the gauges drop to zero when the car is parked the temp gauge and fuel gauge show the dials as halfway in the middle

Sounds like an instrument cluster problem rather than a sensor issue.

Get hold of a 2nd hand instrument cluster and swap them over, the mileage will be different but just make a note of both mileages at the time of the swap. It is possible to have it corrected if you're that fussy! ;-)

If you not sorted it yet or have prob again there is a factory in Heanor Derbyshire called ECU they repaired mine for £120,Ford dealer wanted £500 would recommend ECU the service was 1st class.
