The Charade GTti was a proper car... the engine was fantastic and easy to tune to 140bhp. Car weighed not a lot, but you wouldn't want to crash it!

The additional 300kg the porky pig Fiesta is having to haul around is not helping

Maybe if ford had Turbo'd the Fiesta like Daihatsu did with the Charade, it might have been a contender for the likes of the Charade or the Renault 5 GT Turbo.

The 1.0 is turbo'd.

Yes I know the new fiesta is, but not the old ones the same age as the charade and R5GTT.

A proper mini I hope, not these BMW wannabes!

I had an awesome mini when I were a lad, a 1275GT with a Metro turbo engine.

Surprised a few show off's at the traffic light Grand Prix's.
