yunii
Hi , i have facelift door mirrors & want to fit to pre facelift mk6 fiesta. I know they say you need door looms. I 'd like to know if i can hack facelift mirror plug & join up to pre facelift loom .bearing in mind the loom plugs are both different. In haynes manual the mirror diagram is shown on facelift but not pre facelift. The colours are different on both. Can anyone match the two to join up? Here is mk6.5 facelift wire colours. Any help needed Thanks.

yunii
I'd say easy on driver side a little faffy but not difficult the way i or we did it. I used bullet crimp connectors so they push fit . Their are 5 wires 2 go onto mirror glass one of them is earth the other is heated mirror.then the other 3 is mirror adjust up/down Right/left.so you keep trying by pushing say up to get correct pin conecting to loom & so on until completely working. The best way to check the earth & heated mirror wire is spray water to mist mirror & switch on. Mirror will slightly steam & heat up that way you will know. Buy the mirrors & i will help you. Please note that car is used by my lad dont have it all time.as my car is the focus Titanium. Yunii
