My Tit Must've Been Designed By A Committee.

I have a titanium & everything you have moaned about I actually like except 2 points - stop/start should be in the menu & yes the auto wipers are non existent.

I don't have keyless entry so it's not an issue & auto dimming mirror is awesome, if you don't like it then you must be either blind or you enjoy being blinded by the idiot driving up your backside with full beams on.

Wipers work great here. The mirror takes a bit of getting used to but do like not being blinded. There are times when I wonder who is behind me. Not that I'm doing anything wrong but is it the police etc? Hard to tell.

Why has no one moaned about sync ;) it's cak.

I haven't had any issue with Sync.

The auto wipers are so close to being good but just miss out.

My comp reset thing on the speedo operates the same as the stalk.

I can press either to cycle around the options. If I leave it on trip and press it in it resets each digit at a time. In fact I didn't even know you could reset it from the stalk so have learned something new.

Blow me down, so you can, my post #23 is therefore screwed.

In the manual, the tacho button is called "tripmeter reset button".

The auto-wipers have a sensitivity dial on the wiper stalk, if you make sure it's turned all the way upwards they'll be overly keen to help! I've also found they work based on the speed of the car - so if you're going fast they'll speed up.

Just remember to turn them off if you go into a car wash!!!

Yip. I think they do take account of car speed. Have noticed this too.

Even on the most sensitive setting there are times when they don't react quickly enough, nowhere as near as good as the ones on my Civic.

The auto lights on the other had are nearly perfect.

Winemart2 don't feel bad about not knowing it cycled on the tacho button. Like I say I didn't know it could reset on the stalk. In fact for a while I didn't know there was a button on the stalk and only cycled via the tacho one. Kept saying. ..This is awkward getting to this button lol.

Yea, it's just terrific to drive. The 1.0/125 is amazing, I semi-gunned it from the lights the other day and found myself saying s*** ;)

It more than makes up for the not so good bits.

It's a pity you cant buy a Studio model with a 1.0 125PS engine.

Still dont think you would be happy with this though

You could always just get a 100ps model remapped to 125?

When you say "most sensitive setting" do you mean the dial is at the top of the stalk or the bottom?

Don't think of the scale on the side as min to max sensitivity, think of it as small to large mount of water needed to trigger the wipers.therefore the dial at the bottom will be more sensitive as it requires less water on the screen to trigger it.

This is what I thought

But that would mean moving up to a Zetec.......far too much technology to go wrong in that model.

Awww yeah Damn a guess ......these companies just don't think it through :/

Hmmm. Not how I use it. If I find its a drizzle and not quite wiping enough I turn it up a notch. If its going too often I turn the dial down a bit.

They work perfectly for me so doesn't matter in the slightest how it works or not really. Generally mine sit I think about 3 or 4 from the bottom.

Ps. I get all sorts of rain here so had plenty use out it.

That's how mine work too gillyallan... the higher up the more sensitive (more often the come on) they are.

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Well here you go :P

Yip video explains how mine work.

If it was torrential rain you could probably have it at minimum. If a fine mist you might find you need it more sensitive so turn up to top direction.

I think the stop/start has to be on as default to qualify for Zero VED , i may be wrong.

You could try locking the car with the emergency key inside the key fob. Insurance and police don't like or advise you to abandon a running vehicle though, so it's at your risk

Yes that works, Mark. Nice one. You have to ensure that the key is not inside the car when you lock it (with the emergency key) else it will be disabled.
