59 Plate Ford Fiesta High Level Brake Light

Hi,

my high level brake light has stopped working, can I just replace a bulb or is it a matter of replacing the entire light fitting? if so where is the best place to get one from?

    Richard, you can replace the bulb.

    Carefully ease out the fitting, there is a video on YouTube it's quite simple really. I got a bulb from my local BMS.

    When you open the boot you will see some rubber grommet where the brake light is.

    You will need a flat blade screwdriver and if you look carefully you will see two metal clips that are fiddly to get off.

    Once they're off really easy to get back on. Just be careful some times the clips can ping off!
