dale73
Hello, we have a 2011 S-Max and the dual control heating has gone out of sync; normally if you adjust the dial nearest the driver the temperature adjusts the same both sides but the last couple of days they have gone out of sync, once you get to HIGH or LOW they match up but anything in between is pot luck; does anyone know if there is a simple fix? troy45
Isn't it just a case of pressing the button on the panel for 'Mono' to get the 2 settings back in sync? Usually they then stay in sync until the passenger side is adjusted on it's own and it drops out of Mono control again.
dale73
No that's what I thought as that's how it worked in our Mondeo but this doesn't have the mono button; the drivers side is air con and the passenger side says auto. troy45
Is there not a Mono button on the dash itself, above the heater panel and next to heated screen buttons etc? Googling a few photos shows it there.
dale73
That fixes it thanks; must of been having a senior moment not to notice the mono button!
