Looks like the new fiesta in the U.S has been updated with the new focus sony dab radio which is more user friendly. The design is a lot more simple.

I wonder if we will get it over here anytime soon.

Not sure if that is the new Sony system tbh, it looks like it's got sync 2 on it which our fiestas don't have yet so maybe that's why looks different?

This is the same sony dab with touch screen they fit in the brand new revamped focus sat in one the other day excellent display obviously has to be a bit smaller for the fiesta. focus display i think is around 8 inches could look a bit big for fiesta.

Here what your saying but that now focus is a US model, as it currently stands a Sony system is not avaliable in the Focus. As far as I'm aware Ford and Sony didn't reach a deal for it with Sync 2 in the UK market

You may possibly be right about not being a sony head unit but definitely has sync 2 . Could have sworn it was a sony i will ask my friend .probably been looking at my own for too long. Lol

Sure definitely sync 2, just not sony! I must be honest I think I prefer the Ford unit in my Mrs fiesta than the Sony unit in my Kuga anyway

You won't be able to update it yourself wetter they will introduce it on current fiesta or wait until next generation is anyone's guess

I know in America sync is updatable by the owner. But over here it's got to be done at the stealers and that's if they actually do it over here at all.

Unfortunately sync 2 uses different hardware so it would not be updateable
