AlanMoffat
I had to respray my back panel got the paint code and went to Halfords but when I sprayed it its looks like this can anyone help
laumk7
Large panels it's best to get professionally done, you'll never get a good finish over a large area with a rattle can Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
AdeMk1
Did you do it outside too in these low temperatures? It is possible to get a decent finish with a can, but ideally needs to be done in the right environment too - ie a heated garage etc. Did you use a clear coat after the colour coat? AlanMoffat
Was outside but was not that cold would try again but don't have a garage and yes clear cost was put on to
StevenST13
I'm a professional detailer and I looks like u need to do a full wet sand and machine polish like a body shop will do. As when u paint panels it is nearly always the case as u will get orange peel effect and dry back. A full wet sand and polish is always the final stage in any paint process to achieve the final finish u want.
AlanMoffat
So is that all I need to do or dose it need resprayed
StevenST13
Id say try that first and see what u think really. If you went to a body shop for painting it would definitely be the last thing they will do. It's hard to say from photos as they don't always show it up properly. It's certainly the cheaper option than a respay.
StevenST13
Looking at the photos again I would say that that will probably sort out the paint.
