Fiesta Mk7 Interior Light Problem

I put the interior light onto permanent before, so it was constantly on for a few minutes or so earlier, when I switched it back to the middle position (on when doors open) it stays on constantly now even when the car is locked

The footwell lights and display go off but the interior light stays on and won't go off unless you change the position of the switch which seems very loose

So I took the light cover off and tried another bulb, still the same and can't work out why it's doing this

I've read that it's to do with the contacts in the light but no one goes into great detail about what needs to be done to sort it

I was wondering if anyone could help me out?
