Featured Replies

Is it any good? I mean I'm not going to be playing much particularly loud but I do like depth of music if that makes any sense? So opinions please

Many thanks I'll look into that, if I do buy online I certainly won't be using my local dealership as they've told me before that they'll only install parts and accessories bought from them

Luckily though another dealership 20 odd miles away will as they're a bit more realistic when it comes down to it, unfortunately though, their labour costs are higher for some reason than the local even though they're the same franchise (bsm)

Hmmm well that's lies lol they can install stuff you tell them too lol there bsing you but call a local Evans halshaw and get a quote also I'm just guessing because I go to them a lot but phone ur local rapid fit (tyre king) they are Ford approved too so they might do it and be a lot cheaper if they do

It maybe BS ( they may not want to or know how to) but it also maybe their policy to only fit parts supplied by them, you can't make them fit anything to your car.

I'd rather get a car hifi specialist to fit it anyway. They might have some or other makes on demo for you to hear.

Evans halshaw are trained to fit them but bsm known up here as Macklin motors are known to bs but could be as you say they don't know how but it's not on there policy as said before the same bsm dealers will fit it in a different town......but do agree about hifi specialist a didn't even think of that but a don't know any that's probs why lol but just phone around to get quotes

Well called bsm today for some quotes on fitting and they duly told me they outsource this kind of work anyway!? So instead I visited a hifi car specialist and they quoted me £280 all in for supply and fitting of a decent sub, this one they showed me would go on the seat back and was bigger 'and could cope with bass sounds better than the smaller underseat sub'. I didn't think I listened to the stereo loud, but my husband told me on driving my car back from we buy any car that yes actually I do...

...I listen to the stereo on 11, which I didn't consider that loud tbh

11 that's pretty loud mines normally on 6 or 7 when I'm alone 5 or lower if the missus is with me

Lol I'd call 22 with a sub in the boot loud :P my ears love me!

It was around 18 pre sub install but the sub allows the speakers to fully focus on mid's/high's so I crank it up a couple notches for a free massage ;)
