Thinking About St Montune Help!!

Featured Replies

Guys this is my 1st post and looking for as much help as possible.

I have a 14 plate ST 2 I phoned the dealer I got it from yesterday to ask about servicing and montune upgrade but they weren't very helpful.

Here's a few questions that possible you guys might no answers for?

Does anybody know where in the south of Scotland that can do the upgrade?

How many miles on the clock did you have when you did your upgrade?

Those that have it upgraded was it worth it?

One small point anybody else's st sill door light not working ?

Cheers in Advance post-51995-142208916466_thumb.jpg

Nae worries mate mind n go to the Scotland section of forum and add herself in aswell more of us the better ;)

I've had it fitted to both of my STs, the first one at 4.5k the second at 300 miles. Is it a noticeable difference, yes I think so, as soon as I put my foot down I was smiling.

I think it's worth it, other tuners are not far off price wise when you add a filter and they don't have the warranty.

Mountune dealer locator, although any ford dealer should be able to fit it.

http://www.mountune.com/index.php/services/performance-upgrades/dealer-locator

Kit is £599, fitting can be anything from £1-£100 depending on the epdealers labour rate.

I'm going to get mine done at montune HQ as they offered me the best price and proberly got the most experience. (I know HQ is too far for you)

But my local Ford wanted higher price for the map and upto 2 hours labour to fit at £90 ph.

And you can have it fitted from new but I was recommended to have 2500-5000 miles down which I have now hit.

Cheers guys I've got about 8k on the clock just wondered if there were limits. Just looked on web and nearest place about 30 miles away they were the local approved on montune website but no1 available until Monday to speak too. Will find out the cost and see how it differs from your job.

I will b getting it done tho so will prob just end up paying it, will b getting service at same time, expensive trip ahead :-)
