Has anyone else noticed they kinda close in a bit too far ?? - Mine have left a small mark on both sides just digging into the chrome strip a little ??

Funnily enough, I noticed this too on my car while I was cleaning it yesterday - though mine close (only just) off the chrome strip - less than 1mm gap... they're almost touching!

Can't say I've noticed; I'd go and check but it's persisting it down at the moment!! ;)

Hmm, I noticed they close a bit close but didn't think they might actually touch! I'll have to check mine.

Is there no way to adjust the mirrors to make sure that they are giving a slight clearance - I guess you need to have them closing as close to the body as possible or it defeats the object of having that facility however if they are actually causing damage then whats the point?

Normally with the type of motor used in this mechanism it is a fixed movement motor and non adjustable

I checked mine earlier today and, whilst they close very tight to the body, there is a tiny gap so no damage! ;)
