Evening all,

Had a minor bump in my Fiesta Metal (62 plate), there is a fairly decent crack in the top half of the bumper and a dent the size of your thumb in the bonet. I've been quoted £1100 to get it sorted including labour. I have been told that £800 of that is for the bumper alone. I know that the bumper isn't a standard fiesta bumper but surely it can't be that more expensive?

Will a Zetec S bumper fit my car?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

There taking the mick jake. The parts are the same as any fiesta of the same age except the grill which is the same as a Zetec S. The other difference is your stripes but that's only £30 extra.

To repair / repaint a part is around £200 - £300 so have a shop around.

Yeah I have a metal and the bumpers don't cost that! Their ripping you!

I thought £1100 was way to much! I have looked around for bumpers but they do so many different styles it's hard to tell which one will fit and which won't.

I was told by the garage that it was a two part bumper? This has also confused things because the brokers I have spoke to seem to think it is only a one piece?

bumper is exact same as zetec s except metal should have front aeroblade... extra £100

Thanks for your help guys! I have been looking online but nearly all the bumpers I come across clearly state it is for the standard models? That eBay link is also the same.

A standard bumper (with fog lights) will fit your model no problem.

The "2 part bumper" is just a standard bumper with the "bodykit and blade"

The garage are using the bodykit as leverage to get more of your money.

As above mate. Take your bodykit / blade / grill / fog surrounds off your current bumper onto your new bumper simples :)

Cheers guys, it has helped a lot! I've ordered a bumper so I'll let you know how I get on. I also have a split in my grille, can I buy a standard grille and attach the chrome trim to it?
