Ford Fiesta Mk7.5 Spacesaver

Featured Replies

Hi, What is the correct specs for the space saver for the Mk 7.5 with the Mouth style grille on the front, I got the inflation kit, but would prefer an actual tyre.

Cheers

Steve

AFAIK it's either a 175/65 R14 or nothing.

I have a full size spare (195/50 R15) in my fiesta mk7.5 although my wheels are 195/50 R16, but the difference in rim diameter doesn't matter as space savers are generally 175/65 R14 .

If you get a space saver, you will need to buy a jack, wheel brace & wheel retaining bolt too.

Ive got 195/55 R15 on the actual car, I see some people selling sets on eBay, just dont want to buy the wrong one.

As long as you don't go bigger than 195/50 R15 it will fit in the spare wheel well. It will lift the boot mat a small amount, but not really noticeable. The spare wheel being slightly lower profile that what you have on the car will be ok as it will only be for emergency use.

Thanks mate

Thanks mate

Your welcome mate.

I bought a spare alloy and tyre for mine, 195/55 x 15. The handling is shocking with the so called "full size spare wheel" !

That is now living in the shed till I change the car again.

The spare alloy and tyre fits into the spare wheel well.
