Lights On The Dashboard?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My partner currently has a 59 plate Fiesta Zetec S, & at night the lights on the dashboard (Speedo, Rev counter etc...) are brighter when the car lights are off & then dim when you turn the lights on. This is the only car I've ever known to have the whole dash lit up when you dont actually have your car lights on. every other car i've owned the dash lights up when you turn on the lights.

I find this really confusing & I normally end up driving half way down the road before i realise that although the dash is lit, I dont actually have the lights on.

Is this the same for all Fiesta's these days? or are the new facelift ones different?

Cheers

It's the same on my 2014 Tit. Actually, when I open the door it's like Blackpool illuminations.

Designed by a committee ;)

Some V.W.'s & Seat's do this too.

I was hoping they'd changed it :( as I'm getting a new fiesta delivered soon.
