Manufacturing Date Or Registration Date ?!?

Featured Replies

Quick question

When I refer to my fiesta which was manufactured in 2009 but registered in 2010, which year should I use for parts and referation ?

Till now I say 2009 but I have met many conflicting arguments regarding this subject.

Thanks

Joe

manufacture date, but when you use a motor factor they normally ask for reg number, thats why they get parts wrong sometimes

ford dealers use reg number but that brings up chassis number and manufacture date for reference

Ok I guess that settles it ! :)

I've need to change the stereo to bluetooth and usb because the one I currently have is standard and i need to know if the stereo is compatible with my car. Besides that I need to know whether i can fit parking sensors and have them displayed like the originals.

Can it be done ?
