The £163 wheel is currently £29% off so I'm tempted to get that now - Rates Ford have been selling a batch at that price but only have 5 left...

Is that on eBay?  If so download the app and you can get another 10% off TODAY only!  You can also get another pound or so back through Topcashback if you use that.

Nice one Tom - new wheel ordered for £8 less than Ford wanted for a tyre for it!

How did that happen? You didn't go chubacka on it shredding it open in hunger 😅. I can't remember the last time I've had cereal. I mainly just put stuff in the oven during brunch time. My stomach just acts up a little if in eat not soon after waking up.

Haha, I carefully opened the other end...then the bottom burst as I picked it up!   I knew there'd be a catch to this free cereal but wasn't expecting that!  Henry enjoyed it anyway...  (Henry the hoover  ).

I always eat around 8am otherwise my stomach's really bad.  I used to just have toast but thought yogurt & granola may help my digestive problems and obviously provide more nutrients.  Can't say it's made any difference so far though!!

Weird coincidence today...  That turned out to be the most inappropriate song about 10 seconds after it started! (Keep an eye on the fields to the right!)  I kept the whole video because there's a gang of youths near that Fiesta at the end...thought they might have been involved although the dash cam footage isn't clear even if they were...

Also - the song that just finishes first...it's De'lacy - Hideaway, from GTA Liberty City iirc, only recently found it again!

@TomsFocus it's hard to say if they were involved even though one of the guys looks to be walking with just underwear on 😂. Doesn't look good though what happened. There's a lot of stupidity in this world.

I don't like having to have two teeth removed yesterday.

Typical that they were upper and lower molars on same side so jaw is sore and soup figures strongly in my immediate future.

Long story short-

Few months back I collected a foot to the face grabbing some charming little scallywag off a wall as he tried to avoid the loving nibble of one of my dogs.

Cue four broken teeth that until recently weren't really bothering me.

Last week an abcess kicked in so fang farrier decreed thet two had to go as they weren't repairable.

Currently full of antibiotics and codeine so off work (and road) until at least friday plus my credit card is £300 lighter.

I will get it back off my insurance in due course but still annoying.

Still have to look forward to other two teeth being capped at some point.

TomsFocus
Stoney871 I might have to get two teeth removed for my braces [emoji51]. Did they use any anesthetics to numb the area?
Oh aye, no way I was having that done without a healthy dose of novocaine.
I hsd braces many moons ago and lost four premolars to make space for the other teeth to move.
Btw, braces hurt like a beggar too, every time I had new wires fitted I was soup bound for a couple of days.
Also watch out for sharp wire ends catching inside your cheeks.

I had a wisdom tooth removed recently. They inject the gum with anaesthetic (which was the worst bit), then they go in with the pliers! It's not a subtle procedure...

I finally found the balls to book another dentist appointment for next month after the last one got cancelled just as I arrived there 4 months ago...  It's also at a different place as the original became unresponsive...despite specialising in more 'awkward' patients...

Absolutely bricking it already and still got 4 or 5 weeks of anxiety to go first...I can't say the last few posts have helped with that!  I do hope you feel better soon though @Stoney871 !!

Your saying that to someone who's not too keen on the dentist 😬😂. I should of gotten my teeth sorted out years ago but back then I got so stressed out in the visits Id keep gagging when they look into my mouth. At the moment I have a pocket between the teeth on the corner of my mouth. The bleeding from that caused me to get discharged from the previous dental hospital so now at a UCL dental hospital. The student their cleaned out the pocket and so far actually feels better and hopefully will close up. They were saying about numbing the gum and doing a deep clean there but they just cleaned the area as its not deep.

Honestly would be happy if I get braces so my teeth get sorted out. My central incisors are sticking forward plus my jaw is back so don't know if surgery is required to correct that 😬. My teeth make me paranoid of people outside that sometimes I think I hear people say bugs bunny.

Doing ok tbh, I think it's just sore because my jaw was pulled around and bruised.
Had a wisdom tooth done a few years back and that was nasty, most likely because I was abroad on holiday when it was done and foreign dentists are none too gentle and had no painkillers available apart from asprin which is not recommended after an extraction due to 'dry socket'.

@TomsFocus what's your procedure? Is it just checkups and deep cleaning? I've thankfully gotten used to lieing down and letting them clean my teeth. I used to be petrified with it but now I get bored during the process 😂

I'm definitely not a fan of dentists either.
Driving there my heartrate was 62bpm, walked in and heartrate jumped to 110bpm (according to my smart watch anyway).
Drilling doesn't bother me but when they use a burr I dislike the sensation against my teeth.

My procedure will be mostly squirming around, shaking, sweating, making weepy puppy noises and trying not to cry, soil myself or have a major nervous tick that results in a mirror lodged in my throat...

I haven't been to a dentist since 2011!  Never could cope with it but managed to get there and have a non-contact check for a few years until it got the point where I couldn't even get inside the surgery that year.  It's pretty much all of my fears & phobias mixed into one event.  I'm making light of it but in all honesty I don't know how I'm going to get through a checkup let alone anything else, it is one of my biggest fears and something that the OCD really plays on.  The problem with OCD is that it means I can't trust my own mind, I'm constantly checking my teeth with my tongue and feel like I can feel cavities, chips, cracks and loose teeth...  The trouble is, I don't know how much of that is real or how much is the OCD!  I also can't look inside my mouth because I always 'see' problems which aren't necessarily there (again due to the OCD) and panic about them.  I also have 2 impacted wisdom teeth which cause a lot of jaw ache (not enough room for them to come through) and a lot of hard plaque as well so although I'm only booked in for a checkup to start with I'm fairly certain I will need some sort of treatment.  😢  If I do, I'll be sent to a specialist clinic where I can have gas sedation instead of an injection as I can't stand needles, but I've never had that before so no idea how I'll react or what it's like afterwards.  I can't take painkillers or anything and can't use public transport so would have to drive myself there and back.  I really hate teeth tbh!

Have your wisdom teeth come through yet btw?  If not, you might as well wait before getting braces as they might push everything around!  I must admit though, I feel really self conscious about my teeth as well, but there aren't many people with perfect teeth...and when I meet other people my age in close proximity (car shows usually lol) I realise that most peoples teeth are a bit dodgy by my age anyway!

Probably just blown the bulb if standard (not LED?), hot filaments break much more easily than cold ones.

You were correct Tom. Luckily it was just a blown bulb and no damage to wiring etc had occurred. New bulb from MotorWorld for £13 (usually £17) and fitted too.

@TomsFocus my top wisdom teeth have come out not too long ago. Thankfully no pain from them 😊. I think the bottom ones are visible just slightly covered by my gums. With me the dentists diagnose things not me 😂. This dentist I went to they put this thing on my teeth (similar to paint) and rinsed it off. It was able to show where I wasn't brushing a lot. So my front incisors and other bits were still lit up from that thing. Also they helped me show how to use my electric toothbrush correctly so just keep the brush on one tooth for 3 secs then move to the next one.

No not really. They get you to take painkillers. To be honest the extraction didn't hurt either, although the medieval process was a bit surprising. I'm terrible with injections though so that was where I embarrassed myself and nearly passed out...

Nothing to feel bad or unmanly about 👍. On my 21st birthday on that exact day I was cutting an onion and accidentally cut deep into my finger. I was just staring at it whilst my mum got angry at me and looked for something and all of a sudden everything began to go fuzzy and my stomach went funny. When I told my mum she was making fun of me saying I had symptoms of passing out. Was a weird thing 😂

I don't like this tempory traffic lights on my grans road. It's right outside her house and they opened up the pavement halfway across her house so can't squeeze my car in between that and my grandads car.

The thing which I really hate is how pathetic some drivers are. Saw one guy in front of me in a nice audi A6 decide to overtake the car in front and go through the red light. Wish they put cameras there as a lot of people do this at temporary lights. I did go past the car however so I can go up the kurb on the right and see if I can fit my car on my grans drive.
