I don't like picking this up in a tyre this morning! Been waiting an hour so far for the mechanic to come and change it 🙄

Was about to say didn't you have a spare wheel but realised that's a truck. At least it's not your car 😜

Had a little boy racery moment yesterday. So yesterday dropped mum off at my grandparents house as I feel my granddad is getting depressed at home without his car which my dad is servicing.

Went for a little drive around the area and pulled up at this traffic light. Had some guy behind me in his little mitsubishi mirage go through the gap to my left to get in front of me at the lights 🙄. Now this part of the road is quite wide where sometimes people create two lanes however I don't as there's no lane markings to state that.

So when the lights went green I put my foot down and he did as well and my diesel was able to get ahead of him. Just past the traffic lights and junction there's a bus station on the left and the road goes into two lanes with the lane on the left being a line of bus stops with two buses stopped there so he had to slow down. Police generally patrol the bus station so luckily they didn't stop me.

The guy not long after this turned into Asda. What's the point driving like that to go Asda 🤦. I'm not happy doing these things but impatient fools like this get on my nerves.

So had an e-mail saying i missed a parcel on the 27th which was a Sunday from DHL.

It took me to a link which was DHL site saying i can have the parcel delivered again with a charge as what i can make out i have missed 2 free ones which is strange.

Have nothing to be delivered through DHL it's all Royal Mail or Yodel, but the thing is they said 27th which is a Sunday and   not ordered anything before the 27th its 28/29th i have ordered stuff.

It wanted me to add details with a continue link on the DHL page which i didn't press as it's a complete con.

Yes, I've had a couple of those which looked very convincing indeed. Very easy to fall for it at the present when everyone is having lots of deliveries.

There's a prominent warning on DHL's own website.

A good clue with these is they often mention "your local office" which is usually some place nowhere near, London was mentioned on mine!😀

I don't like the last three evenings of absolute pain in my abdomen from a likely flare up of my Crohn's. It's only be a few times in my 18 years of having it but things always seem to crop up at the wrong time of year. Spent 5 days is hospital (3 before and 2 after Christmas and Boxing day) years back and similar time in 2016 when I last had problems. This time round I have got hold of the specialist nurse and GP issued some steroids to help try and calm things down before it gets worse.

I'm not worried about having to go into hospital if it gets that bad but I don't want to be anymore of a burden as things are pushed as it is.

I also don't like that my dad is starting his chemotherapy from the 5th January and will pretty much be in and out of hospital every week for the next 6 months. He's going to be having the strongest mix apparently so it's likely going to knock him sideways.

I used to react like you did and I fully sympathise, but one day something just clicked inside me...call it growing older and wiser 🙂 now I just ignore it and let them get on with it.....that doesn't mean I wouldn't laugh hysterically if I saw them wrapped around a lamp post a mile up the road ahead of me 🙂

I don’t like the way my mk2 facelift Focus front locks freeze in winter. 🤬

I've tried de-icer and WD40 to no avail, the only thing that works is hot water on the latch mechanism, this morning the door closed but ‘driver door open’ was on the info screen on the dash & the car wouldn’t lock!

It’s  now covered in silicon grease so let’s see what tomorrow brings ...

Yeah generally I don't really retaliate as I got my dashcam which I can report the footage to. The met police have took action on 5 drivers I've reported for their bad driving so feel at least they get justice for it.

Speaking of bad drivers I came across this Porsche Cayenne today which I encountered a few months ago cutting in front of me. Was driving no different today turning into a road driving fast tailgating a car in front. Made a comment about it on rate a driver.com 😂

Hope you feeling better after your illness Zain.👍

That's a good idea to not react and to send footage to police, judgement is nigh for idiots who have no regard for anyone, not even there own safety matters to them, if it did they clearly would act much different.

I have to be honest I wish I had a dash cam, the amount of idiots I have ran into on the roads would be way into double figures, maybe even triple figures, there never seems to be a police car around when you need one.😉

I'm thankfully recovered now thanks for asking however I haven't regained my sense of taste and smell back yet even though it's been nearly a month since I fell sick 😬.

Honestly the number 1 thing I hate when driving is bad drivers. I've just been dwelling over the fact I saw that idiot today in his old high mileage Porsche SUV driving like an idiot. I just think to myself he must be paying some amount to maintain that car as one YouTuber I know had one and said it was a money pit.

I definitely would recommend you investing in a good dashcam. In case you had an accident at least you have footage and it hopefully will reduce the investigation time and help show properly who's at fault. You can also use it like me to report bad drivers to the police. The police took action on 5 people I reported where they sent a letter of intended prosecution to their address. That must of shaken them up. I'm happy that at least justice gets served to most of these people

I fully agree, A dashcam is very useful  although I did actually report an HGV driver who was on the inside lane of the M6, he was swaying all over the place, I overtook him by leaving a lane between us, and sure enough there he was face down looking at his mobile phone!!

I sent dashcam footage to police, of his swaying who responded by saying sorry we can't do anything about it! They said I would need footage of him using his phone and when I said "how can I rotate my dashcam as I pass the driver so as to film him"  the copper said " well if you touched your camera to film him we would be prosecuting you as well"

I responded to the copper by saying, no wonder the roads are full of unrepeatable #####

There's a guy on YouTube called cycling Mikey who cycles in central London catching people on his helmet camera on their phones. I think for cyclists it's easier for them to report these things as the camera is fixed to their head.

Heres an example of one person I reported for going on the wrong site of the island at the very beginning of the video. Audi driver got a letter sent to them to confirm who the driver was so they can prosecute them. Should of just waited patiently like everyone else then get into their lane when it splits

Ahh yes I remember that Cyclist guy, he was on the TV, trying to make out how absolutely wonderful cyclists are.  Pity he wasn't around this Sunday when me and the Mrs went for a walk, and was faced with a mountain bike cyclist hurtling towards us as we walked on a pedestrian only passageway and clobbered me.....strange how they don't have helmet cameras when they want to put pedestrians in danger, but they want every motorist to leave a 6 foot space in case they want to swerve into the middle of the road.

This mountain cyclist then had the nerve to shout at me saying because the main road didn't have a cycle lane he was allowed to cycle on a pedestrian only passageway.....and he knows coz he studied law!!

PS That Audi driver needs to be prosecuted....I would have liked to help him with a possible go faster stripe on both sides of his Audi also

Yeah the audi driver got a letter sent to them by the police to confirm who was driving at the time so they can get prosecuted. Generally it's 3 points crossing on the wrong side of the island plus you saw two pedestrians just cross the road before the audi went past.

I think cyclists need something like a number plate to get their details. One of my friends who coincidentally started volunteering in the same hospital ward I'm in showed me this long cut along her arm. She told me a cyclist rode past her when she was crossing with the handlebar cutting her arm. She said he rode off without giving her his details. Luckily she was just near the hospital so went A&E. I would agree there are some stupid cyclists out there. Had one guy go through a red traffic light which was designated only for cyclists whilst I went straight to turn right. Was thinking of horning at them for doing that but just did the right thing to just stay behind them before I reach my left turning.

Blimey thats bad about your friend, I'm seeing lots of Cyclists on the road these days behaving in a selfish way, and like you I believe a number plate system should be in place, for a whole host of reasons

PS glad you are recovering ok from your recent illness, just take it easy mate as your body immunity system will still be under shock, which could put you at risk from falls etc... and any minor illnesses which would otherwise be nothing to worry about.

The worst ones wouldn't use numberplates as it'll ruin the aerodynamics and stop them knocking a second off their PB by riding like an arsehole...easy solution though, registration number can be displayed on a sash, jacket or lycra shirt to accommodate everyone.

Thanks man, thankfully after a month now I'm better and I think my taste and smell senses are coming back. My sister told me the virus attacks those senses hence this and some people get permanent damage though hopefully I'm regenerating that back.

@FiestaForever think you need to get a dashcam like me 😂. You don't know how unsettled I get when I see inconsiderate driving. On Monday I had a BMW in the left turn lane go straight and sort of cut in front of me then around that area I saw a guy in a jeep use the left lane to go onto the right lane before the roundabout to go around it as the left lane only lets you take the first exit on the left. Way too many idiots on the road who lack lane discipline.

At least with the dashcam I don't need to retaliate if I can report the person to the police. Only thing is if the person is stupid enough to want to go court thinking they did nothing wrong you'll need to attend also.

I don't like getting sucked in to another enjoyable but expensive hobby which I'm now stopping before I lose my shirt 😂

I'll now explain;

It all started with amazon when I saw and purchased these shelving units which are designed to hold 80 Hotwheels vehicles in each unit.

IMG-20201231-WA0006.thumb.jpg.436161c6653b7f2a8d722aafbb427bf8.jpg

Yesterday; I thought id log on to a local buy & sell website to search for some nice vehicles; first found a candy red Impreza sti with gold wheels, then an S14 Silvia, followed by an orange MK2 escort and a British racing green Audi Quattro, 1989 Honda civic, honda S2000, lemans Mustang, MK2 golf, the list goes on and I kept purchasing to create rows of rally type, drift type, Street race etc.

Didn't think it would have added up to £142 for 27 vehicles in original packaging from five different sellers 😂 which are going to be taken out of packaging and placed in to a six year olds room.

I'm shocked at what Ive ended up spending on little toy cars, but there iconic models

Good on ya mate, looks a fabulous display, and guess what if you enjoy it do it.  I remember when hot wheels first came out, we all pestered our parents for it, I remember the loop the loop and the motorised wheel units...kind of like a carwash on steroids 🙂 which propelled the cars round the track.  It was a great novelty seeing the american cars....we never knew hot wheels would last this long 🙂

I like it when warning lights come on for no reason then go out I don't know if there's a fault or not. The low tyre pressure light came on as I had a puncture due to tyre being perished and car is not two years old. The other light was stability light came on when resetting tyre light and would not go out only when I switched off luckily stayed off when I started the car. Ford still says they don't do warranty work.
