AdeMk1
Could you wrap anything around it to make it last longer? I wanted snow!!!! It's covered in heat reflective sheathing but doesn't really help much lol. I wrapped the one on my Mk1 Escort with exhaust heat wrap as it was close to the turbo. jmurray01
I do like getting another 60 miles driving under my belt, and picking up a vintage camera on the way (reason for going to Inverness). I also like picking up a bottle of whisky on the way home and relaxing with a film and a few drams... It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right!?
Preecematt
@jmurray01 how old is that camera? As bar the swirl marks(lol) it looks in good condition, so does the case.

It will clean up nicely, however I'm not sure of the exact year it was made. I'm assuming it is mid to late 1980s, but will do more research to hopefully find a closer year of manufacture. jmurray01
I like, in fact I love my Sebo X1.1. Makes light work of any cleaning, from carpets, rugs, upholstery and even hard flooring. To think I picked it up for £10 purely because it had a clogged hose that the previous owner couldn't be bothered investigating (thought the motor was at fault!) instead of buying a whole new cleaner. jmurray01
I do like the £3 "universal remote control" actually doing its job and pairing with my old Sony Trinitron in the bedroom. I'm paying extra to have the 2nd Sky box, so may as well use it once in a while.
SeanW
I like how the Euro Car Parts website reckons that it takes 42 minutes to change a Focus battery...the guy that wrote that must have one seriously disappointed missus!! Exactly 10 minutes from taking the battery cover off to putting it back on lol

Ianb
I like this forum. I have to say I've had a think about this forum this morning - I've been struggling with ideas for RL - I have a sort of writers block, even though I'm not writing anything, anyway, it lead me onto the forum to try and feel 'happier', which may in turn allow me to become a little more creative and as such I completely forgot what I was supposed to be doing and got stuck reading some of the old posts etc. Got to admit, 99.99% of the people I have come across on here have been really friendly and a great laugh, the forum definitely has a lot going for it.... Thanks for having me, as such! :D Now I'll buzz off and be all mooshy somewhere else and try and get my head in the *********** game!!!!!

GMX
I do like finally having some spare time to address the garden, or specifically sorting out this seasons vegetable crop rotation. Doing a 4 year crop cycle with 7 plots means that each season there's the potential of too little of one group Brassicas were in short supply last season; slightly less than than there should've been courtesy of the local pigeons! I also had to move the rhubarb earlier this year, it had reached it's 8th anniversary where it was. So, I've gained the plot where it was: but lost plot where it went. I also like having a bowlful of 21-fruit fruit salad for a late breakfast, following Brandy's long Saturday stroll. By using a smoothie instead of syrup, my 21-fruit salad contains no added sugar, all the sweetness comes from the 21 fruits and the smoothie

GMX
I do like, surprisingly so, Belvoir elderflower and rose cordial, even if it's a commercial rather than a self-made cordial I had thought the two flavours would clash with each other, both being heady fragrances: not so, it is a very pleasant drink. In fact, at the moment I prefer it to my regular elderflower I also like having produced just enough compost last year, for all my vegetable plot needs this year. So, apart from the cucurbits, who have pure well rotted manure and not compost, I won't have to buy any in @jmurray01 Do you collect old cameras as well vacuums and typewriters? GMX
It would appear, for the time being, we have a hot and sunny spring, after the weeks of "abnormally cold" It was very summer-like on Brandy's morning stroll, already 15°C when we left the house at 6:30am and like "walking back in a fan oven" two hours later. The thermometer on my garage wall is saying it's 26°C now and it's not the hottest part of the day yet! I wonder if it'll touch 30°C after midday?? I found £14.07 in loose change scattered on the pavement again, where all the takeaways are. The early morning walks along there can be quite profitable It would seem the local takeaway users scatter their change when paying for their taxis from the pub. Brandy too, found a discarded kebab, half a KFC bucket and some random chips but was denied the opportunity to eat them.
