@Zico I'm wondering if I should get those bulbs 😂. I just wonder though if it produces a red light rather than white. It looks to have the same design as the performance indicators so must be really bright. At least with these you can blind people with your brake light and indicators when your slowing down to turn into your house road.

I'm just wondering if I saw @Jethro_Tull also in the dream 🤣

Do like the new camera image however the object looks closer than when looking from outside.

Yeah...the Victorians were much more sociable without phones and the internet... :wink:

That's interesting - my only other experience of leather seats is in my Lotus. The leather is actually glued to those and when I had them re-trimmed I had to send the whole seats back to the factory.

I wonder if Ford sell the ST half-leather seat covers individually if I ever wanted to replace one in the future? I can't find them online but they clearly have a part number so you might be able to get them.

I should have been more specific - I was talking about the belt on your trousers, not the seat belt.

Cor, my spine hurts just looking at those! :laugh:  Though I will admit they look far more comfortable than the Sparco buckets I've helped fit to a few mates track cars, honestly don't know how they can do 300 mile trips to Combe in them. 😮  I've also learnt something there though, didn't realise the covers were glued on even on firm bucket seats. :smile:  The Ford seat covers are available separately, but I'm not sure if they're kept in stock or if they'd just be made to order once the production run finishes.  You do occasionally find genuine ones on eBay, I know these are rears but just to give you the idea - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Ford-Fiesta-Rear-Seat-Cover-back-leather-2013/232226939285?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D56113%26meid%3Db50cdc7771544729bfd2c37d81ffdb97%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D232226939285%26itm%3D232226939285&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A67583270-6280-11e9-be78-74dbd18062ea|parentrq%3A34cbab3a16a0acc7c663656effe7926a|iid%3A1     Ah, my bad!  I always wear a belt but cant say I've ever noticed it affect the seat, even with full leathers.  I'd still say keeping it soft and supple with some conditioner should help though.

They're actually okay. They have a layer of Probax foam under the leather. The furthest I've been is Silverstone (from Somerset) with a full day on track. Admittedly I was ready for some time out of the car after that...

I do like that the flight home from Glasgow this afternoon arrived in Orkney airspace early and had to do a 'fly around' and the pilot chose an unusual flight path, taking in the cliffs of the island of Hoy. This included a rare view from the air of the tallest seastack in Britain known as The Old Man of Hoy.

Unfortunately by this time, like a good law abiding passenger, I had switched my phone off and by the time I got it switched on I had missed the iconic shot! 🙄

ST150 is shed of the week on Pistonheads this week...  Project for @zain611 maybe?  :wink:

Would love to get a frozen white one. I think though the sensible thing for me to do is have a cheap running car so that not so much money is spent and save up for a house when I start working.

I do like making the most of the good weather aswell as the time off work;

I'm currently in the process of improving our two daughter's bedroom; changing the floor, bed and wardrobe across the next two weeks.

Managed to get the IKEA Trysil wardrobe completely dismantled yesterday and outside aswell as lifting the old laminate flooring which was there fifteen years since the house was built.

20190420_074426.thumb.jpg.4bb2189c014f0d4c95bb0bb12aa5fb31.jpg

Mentioned earlier that I got a great deal on the unibond WhiteTec foam at €9 per can aswell as some screws and some Dewalt Philips heads with free screw drive bit

20190418_141223.thumb.jpg.2556d44029389726720f115b499dec20.jpg

Filled the area around the beams where they enter the cavity wall aswell as any gaps along the wall with the foam today,

20190419_150151.thumb.jpg.16182adeb2a70923fbab625859ccbef9.jpg

Screwed down the chipboard flooring using all 200 screws; theres no squeak atall

20190419_210931.thumb.jpg.50e2db2084e97161e7299d8bbec20b8b.jpg

Trimmed back the expanding foam and mopped the floor to eliminate dust as much as possible.

20190420_123544.thumb.jpg.141a3c83c6ee7f84303463acc6b46bb1.jpg

Painted red on the wall where the heating pipes are inside the wall because I really dont want the guys fitting the floor to put a skirting board nail through the heating pipes.

20190420_154140.thumb.jpg.ad8523b7b7f7c2d4bba73c7aedc59859.jpg

I've ordered a replacement bunk bed to replace these two; the existing was a double on the bottom and single on the top mid-sleeper

Screenshot_20190420-184145_Photobucket.thumb.jpg.21d122dfaab52b9c7f0a7da89031fadc.jpg

20190420_154153.thumb.jpg.53b2ea042bd4a6259988d4a7773f845e.jpg

I'll be chopping them up for fire wood next week after the replacement semi-solid Oak floor is installed replacing the beds with a high sleeper which is two single beds and gives more head space to the bottom bunk allowing the occupant to sit up.

20190418_085426.thumb.jpg.b58533786f1f80c40e0c184862066810.jpg

The width of the room is 282cm between the back of the airing cupboard and the neighbouring wall;

The bunk bed is 105cm wide and will go down along the neighbouring wall, theres then 178cm left between the side of the bed and the door; which I've found a built in wardrobe in IKEA measuring 175cm in width from there PAX range of customisable built in wardrobes.

pax-wardrobe-white-vikanes-vikedal__0442205_pe593670_s31.jpg.0cfe00f756fab57ebfdf6a9d1a33b485.jpg

Will fit to the left of the room saving loads of space and appearing custom built with only 3cm left between side of wardrobe and the side of the bunk beds.

I'm currently updating the relevant section of the home improvements thread to reflect the changes for those interested: https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/80864-living-room-project/

Keeping the bolster soft and supple with leather conditioner is probably the best compromise.

I've given both front seats the full Autoglym Leather Balm and Gtechniq L1 treatment this evening. I'll do another treatment with L1 on the contact surfaces tomorrow evening too.

I do apologise; I didn't see the harm as the swearing was set in to the picture, to be fair I shared it without much thought and having just read the news today for the first time since Thursday; id like to add that; it didn't carry any of my personal views atall.

Aw...looks like I missed something interesting... :unsure:

Anyway, I do like how secure it is round here...a neighbour left her car window down all night since yesterday afternoon (presumably by accident) and I'm guessing it's unlocked as the alarm hasn't even gone off.  It's not an old rotter though, it's a £15,000 SLK... 😮 :laugh:

It was an Aardvark with a very inappropriate slogan,

It's nice ho live in a quiet area; our kids berg duo chopper has been parked in the driveway since may last year; thankfully hasn't been touched atall,

And Saturday evening the wife forgot to lock the car wasn't touched neither, it's nice to be in a comfortable area considering everything that's currently going on in the world.

On a "do like" subject I do like having recessed all of the radiator pipes inside the walls of the house and relocating the one in the hallway;

I do like getting the idea to paint the parts of the wall containing the pipes with neon red paint; to ensure the guy fitting the skirting boards doesn't drive a nail in to the same location which wouldn't be good atall.

The floor and skirting boards will cover the red paint when fitted.

What display is that? Looks pretty nifty (would retrofit better into parents car than sticking a screen somewhere).

I'd try and find the link to it 👍. Best thing with this mirror is they supply the correct bracket for the car rather than it clipping over the original mirror. My dad bought another camera for the rear as the old one looked to start going wrong. This one says it has a Sony chip in it and the picture image looks better compared to the previous camera.

@Micro this looks like it. Good price also, I got mine for around £40 - 50 nearly 1 and a half years ago. I think the bracket will fit into the factory slot. Cameras are cheap, the one my dad bought with the Sony chip in it was around £8

As long as it's not a Juke you'll be ok.
Had a Juke as a hire car last week and it's terrible, cramped inside and brakes that are either on or off with no fade in at all.
It was pedal down, down a bit more, down a lot more.
Finally pedal fully down and 'Hello windscreen'. [emoji37][emoji3062][emoji15]
