The wing nut that is behind the carpet in the boot ? Or the Torx screws on the outside holding the light top and bottom ?

Looks like it's the centre thread that has a wing nut behind the boot carpet securing it in place.

Either go direct to ford and they'll locate it for you and it will be pennies. Or go to a scrap yard and get hold of one of they've got a fieata mk7/7.5 in

Check it's not loose, might still be on the thread but loose.

It's like a plug type thing not a screw I've had the light off completely, it just won't hold in if you know what I mean.

Is it a mk7 ? If it's a mk6 might be different.

The mk7 has two torx screws (one top one bottom on the outside of the light) it then has a thread that goes into the car so to say and has a plastic white wing nut that goes onto the thread holding it secure.

More and better pictures will help

Is it a facelift mm6? If so you need like a plastic bung that goes into the hole and then the light pushes into it.I purchased two for under a fiver when I fitted facelift lights to my prefacelift

Just go to ford and they'll locate it for you or go to a scrap yard and get one.
