Fiesta Windscreen Seal Popping Out

Featured Replies

Hi,

Seen a few of these posts but no answers....

Recently on the motorway I noticed the black plastic seal bit around the windscreen on the passenger side of my Ford fiesta style+ 09 was flapping around and I am wondering how you think I should fix this issue in case it leads to a leak ?

It will more likely be for preventing wind noise than a water seal - this is achieved with the sealant used to bond the windscreen in place.

Which funnily enough is what I've used in the past when a similar seal came away from the top of the windscreen on my mk2 Focus ST (common problem)

Windscreen PU or something like Tigerseal will stick it nice and solid just be very very careful if you get any on your fingers as it will end up all over the place before you know it!
