This is my Zs have had it for just over 7 months now and put near 8k on her, I went from a 1.25 petrol fiesta to this so straight away it feels like a rocket ship due to the pull from the turbo, however now it's become a speed I'm used to, but for everyday driving and a bit of poke when you need it, it's perfect, first thing I would urge anyone to do would be put a set of eibach springs in as I done, makes cornering 100 times more fun! I got silver due to driving back roads everyday and well even when silvers dirty it looks clean haha I've an exhaust system on mine, twin pipe at the back, not 3.5 inches, the "s" badge for the grill, "never been" sticker for the boot, lowered on coilovers now (previously on springs) front splitter from Triple R composites, 15" 1200w Sub and amp in the boot, interior all done in blue SMD bulbs for reading lights and foot week lights, I love my wee fiesta, costing me £216 a month for the car (from new) and £200 a month insurance too as its my first car in my own name, eventually will go for an ST but atm I'm more than happy!!

Never seen a silver Zetec S before, looks nice!

You're looking at 1.6k to 2.2k for insurance on an ST? Damn.. 4 years ago when I started driving I scoured the net and the cheapest I could get was on Tesco at £2600 a year, for a crapped out 1.3L 1999 69Bhp mk 2 Fiesta! Was paying almost as much on insurance as I was paying for my car now!

Fortunately with 4years NCD it is down to £330 with a non-fault claim too.

As for the little 1 liter engine, have to say I love it and I only currently have the 100ps model! Drop your foot in 2nd and watch (listen to?) your passengers squeal! :D The only problem is when I went to Devon (Was fairly often in the past 2 years!), it struggled on some of the hills. Which is why I have a 140ps Zetec S in the factory now :) Bit more on the insurance and pay £20 a year tax instead, but I should see a lot less similar looking cars now! I see the white everywhere now :( Albeit rarely looking as nice as mine :)

Just over 9500 only 3000 on clock

That's the colour of my ZS though mine has the 16" wheels post-56845-14259394301_thumb.jpg

Hi there,

I'm currently looking at buying a Zetec S ecoboost and I have a few questions

1.Does the car give you that sense of thrill when you're driving it?

2.Does it pull away quick

3.Average MPG

4.Whats it like to own one

5.Your favourite color

Thanks :)

1. Yes

2. Yeah it's got decent pull off the line

3. I've averaged 44 since I got mine last July

4. Personally I love it and would recommend it :)

5. Frozen White (though I'm biased) :p

Deep Impact Blue when clean is a thing to behold! Also with the ZS you get economy + more than enough power and fun for normal driving :D
