I have just bought a 54 plate fiesta firefly but I did not get any manuals with it.

I was given 2 basic keys, not remote, no buttons. Can I buy a key with a remote and get it programmed to open doors as its a pain to use key to lick/unlock all the time.

I know this car has no trip computer so does anyone know how much fuel each bar on the digital gauge represents. I'm used to cars which give you a numbered range of fuel left.

    A key fob and programming will cost you near £100 as you can only get it done from a ford dealership and I can only recommend filling the car and resetting your odometer and calculating what you get for each bar

    I had to put up with that digital fuel gauge too, it's so annoying that one minute you think you have plenty of fuel, then the next minute your fuel light is on. I don't know how much each bar represents but it's just a proportion of a full tank, so you can probably work it out based on the size of the tank and the number of bars.

    I had a 04 plate Fiesta and as I recall they didn't come with remote unlocking as standard, just the normal key if you didn't specify it.
