AS above, it's about due for my brake pads to be changed. Now the question is do I go for EBC green stuff or OEM or other?

Depends what you want and what car there on really. On a standard car maybe just oem but if you have an ST or a tuned car go green stuff for extra stopping power.

I will never use green stuff pads again after they lasted just over 1000 miles on my fiesta rs turbo. Had to use the handbrake to stop myself rear ending someone

What year was that? I've used greenstuff over the last five years and the pads clearly performed better than OEM.

Do they last as long?

Yes, I had them on the panda 100hp and they survived well.. Can't remember exactly how far, at least 25k miles. That includes track days and sprints, plus plenty of commuting.

I tried greenstuff about 15 years ago and wasn't impressed, but completely different now.

Ahh just wondering because was thinking of upgrading my discs and having green stuff when I have the blufin in ....faster I go ibwanna stop sooner too

For the road, I would just make sure the fluid is changed regularly and that decent pads are used. I wouldn't spend extra on discs.

It was about 8 years ago. Saw plenty of complaints about them at the time. Changed them for mintex and never looked back.

The oem pads in my 09 Ford focus were superb - far better then my new fiesta. And they lasted 43k miles.
