Focus C-Max 1.6Tdci Injector Seal???

Hi,

I have a focus c-max 1.6 tdci 2006, yesterday i took it for a service and the mechanic told me that my 1 injector was leaking fuel. I had a look at it myself while the engine was running and could see fuel around the injector and that the injector seals (copper washers) have to be replaced and fingers crossed it will be ok.

I've been on many forums and have seen this topic widely covered, it seems like its a very common fault with these engines and one to fix straight away as it can lead to alot of other problems turbo failure etc.

I went to my local parts shop but they didn't know what size washers i need.

I'm sure someone here knows what size copper washers i need and what else do i need to replace with the washers? I've read about leak off pipes but not sure what they for and do i have to change them?

Please help as I want to fix this before something very expensive goes wrong with the car.

go to Ford direct for the washers, they are cheap enough to buy in the grand scheme of things, just dont get them to fit them!
