One of my discs looks like this

Took it to edd China's garage after they developed a squeal and they levelled the pads for me and greased them up. They where originally going to replace both pads and discs but they didn't need to be done.

But still non the wiser on these groves, they are only on the passenger side.

Brakes work fine


Anyone else know? Just interested really

    Faulty brake pads ?,some very hard material embedded in them during manufacture.I would take them out and have a look.
