what is the best screen wash ?

tried a few and they all leave my spirit blue paintwork and the side windows looking like milk has been chucked on the car.

they dry horrible, thinking of trying filtered water and a tiny splash of fairy .

ice is not really an issue at the moment so don't need major - degrees protection.

Just ordered a bottle for £7.27. The price in the link is an add-on item so you need to spend over £10

You could have bought 4 bottles for 11.28.

Don't buy the pink stuff from Halfords - its diabolical!

Other than that I use asdas or Tescos 'finest' lol

It's ok. I'll see if it's as good as they claim first. I can always try another brand if not.

Heh. My wife likes the smell of the Halfords pink stuff. However I'm currently using asda blue stuff. It was cheap for 2 containers of it. Not using as much now so might take a while to use this up.

Dont use washing up liquid it can remove any wax protection, try comma xtreme , autoglym or prestone , I use Shell screenwash (oonly cos I got it free with my vouchers)

Not as far as I'm aware hence inverted commas, but tbh it wouldn't surprise me if they did

Delving through my bag of diamondbrite goodies I've noticed I've got some in there, and some autoglym stuff I didn't know I had lurking in the garage

I use autoglym screenwash along side autoglym glass polish and carbon collective glass

I'm using Halfords + Tesco stuff. I say + as I have topped up one with another. I go through the stuff quite quickly as I dislike having any dirt on my windscreen when I drive!

So quantity is probably over quality for me!

I used to work at Lidl, and have to agree with you there.

Some of the car cleaning stuff they sometimes sell, isn't that bad either. Like the engine cleaner spray, and the chain cleaner spray - both very good products! I still have some alloy wheel cleaning wet mitts, where you just use it a wet mitt to wipe over the wheels to clean. I have never seen these or anything similar being sold anywhere else.

I use Bluecol 3 in 1 winter Screenwash, smells of alcohol but cuts through road grime well.

Do not use Tesco Eco Screenwash, it leaves terrible residue on paintwork.

I also use Simoniz foaming screen cleaner which I spray onto bird !Removed! and it lifts the stuff nicely, even off paintwork.

It's good for removing greasy residue and car wax off glass too.
