philr62
I discovered that all four of my wheels are bubbling up around the valve stems, not to good for a 64 plate car. My dealer has taken some piccies and so now i am awaiting the decision as to replace or repaint,i don't really fancy the idea of a refurb on a 6 month old car, plus the fact ford have always said they don't have a paint code for rado grey so how are they going to get the paint colour correct? Just thought i would give it a mention so others are aware that this could become a problem on the rado grey wheels.
MattDRX
Mine had a tiny bit on them at 1 year old, right between the back part and where it met the front piece, almost like there is a seam between the two bits. Ford weren't interested tbh, although within a year they have to sort all issues out, so Ford should replace the wheel under the 1st year total warranty. Colour match wouldn't be an issue as they could spray all of the wheels at the same time (possibly volvo 932) at least then you would know what the paint code for your wheels is. Phil 87
I haven't noticed anything like this on mine, but I'll have a good look next time I wash it. This is one of those things I would hope the warranty would cover, because it has to be a manufacturing fault when corrosion starts so soon on alloys. philr62
I would have said that it is a manufacturer fault ,all four wheels in the same place is to much of a coincidence to me.
L22EEW
That's quite shocking. Hope you get them sorted under warranty!
