UnSol
Hello, I have had my 2006 Focus 2.0 Automatic for six months, and have been very pleased with it. One thing that has puzzled me a bit though is that when starting (from a cold or a hot engine) you have to wait a few seconds after turning the key until all the dash lights etc have settled down before actually giving the final turn to the key to crank the engine. If you don't wait long enough, more often than not the engine won't start, or it kind of "half" ticks over for a few seconds and then dies. Question is: Is this normal on this model of Focus, or any other model for that matter? This doesn't bother me as such, as I start the car accordingly, but I just wonder if there might be a problem, and if so, can it be fixed..? Any thoughts or help appreciated...!!
