Just ordered MP135 and Mountune induction for my ZS :D

I know the Superchips would technically be better value but I'm building towards MR165 (baby steps)! Also warranty :)

Haha yeah cheers for all the advice! I'm gonna do charge pipe kit too in the near future but as mountune store prices don't include VAT these two were quite enough for now!

I'll do the mandatory engine bay shot once I've fitted the induction...

I've got the induction hose and boost hose kit on mine, well nearly anyway as not having any luck getting the last 2 boost hoses on as the clamps are in a stupid position so not managed to change them over yet :(

I had loads of problems with them hoses mate. Had to take a few other other bits off but got it sorted in the end.

This bit needs taking off

You'll need a 10mm socket to get the sensor off the just remove the other jubilee clips that you can reach and pull it off in one go.

Once upgraded power increases to 135PS at 6000rpm and torque is raised to 214Nm at 3,250rpm.

The upgrade will produce performance returns of 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds and drops the 31-62mph in-gear time to 10.7 seconds - 1.5 seconds quicker than in standard form.

Revealed at the Cars and Coffee event today in Essex is the mountune MR165 upgrade for the mk7 Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 125PS and Red / Black 140PS models.

As the name suggests, the MR165 upgrade kit delivers a performance uplift to 165PS at 6000rpm with 245Nm of torque available from just 2500rpm.

The MR165 upgrade consist of, a high-flow induction kit, primary and secondary silicone hoses, charge pipe upgrade kit and a larger capacity alloy intercooler. All hardware can be added in a modular fashion, with the MR165 calibration efficiently maximising the collective hardware.

The MR165 calibration is supplied using an mTune handheld device – for customers who are currently running an MP135 upgrade installed with an mTune, an in-field downloadable firmware update is available at a greatly reduced cost.

mountune's engineers spent a great deal of time developing this kit to ensure that it delivers the optimum level of performance with the OE turbocharger, whilst maintaining the maximum possible reliability of the engine.

The whole kit can be installed in just 2 hours and does not require a ramp / jacking, nor does it require the front bumper to be removed.

The end result is a quite remarkable level of performance that delivers much more than should be capable from a 1.0 engine!

As well as the impressive low-down torque, the calibration also refines the pedal map to give a more connected, instantaneous response to the drivers' commands.

With the kit installed, the 0-60mph time drops to 7.2 seconds, a massive 2.2-second improvement over the standard model, with in-gear and midrange acceleration improved upon even more so thanks to the 245Nm readily on hand.

As an MR upgrade, your warranty may be affected as it does not benefit from the same warranty provision that the MP upgrades provide. All parts are covered by our standard 12-month / 12,000 mile warranty against manufacturing defects and all of the silicone hoses are backed by SamcoSport's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
