deziie3
yeah I'd rather save that much money and keep the circle thing on haha
JoeZS19
Personally I wouldn't paint the rear drums (circle thing) as I think it looks a bit naff & drawing attention to the fact the fiesta drum brakes instead of discs on the back. Each to their own though :), and like the colour you want to paint them it's down to personally taste! I believe a lad called Nathan on here added the rear St diffuser to his candy blue fiesta and added a an exhaust tip to the standard exhaust and it looked really good. I've currently got a candy blue zs the same as you and had considered doing it to mine.
deziie3
i might just paint them both black i dunno yet and yeah I've see it it looks really good makes it stand out that bit more definitely doing it to mine when i get spare money
JoeZS19
Could always paint the drums black, and the front calipers a different colour?. Yeah it does look good with the St diffuser. Only reason I'm not doing mine is im getting an St next month ;)
deziie3
first car never painted calipers before do you need to use heat resistant paint or? if you do ill just do them black
deziie3
and yeah im definitely getting the st back I'd love a st but that more money and more money on insurance tbh I'd the the ford focus st in yellow but its not going to happen anytime soon
JoeZS19
It's best to use the heat resistant paint, or the paint that's designed for painting calipers. Just make sure the surface of the calipers and drums is clean and free of any surface rust. Yeah I get what you're saying. I've had 3 zetecs now (mk6, 7 & 7.5) so fancied an St
deziie3
im guessing your a ford guy then i like my audi's but its just money once again haha and how would i get rid of the rust because ido know there is some on my calipers and that silver bit disc thing haha how would i remove it off both

JoeZS19
I guess, I've just never had any issues with fords aha. I like other brands to though to be fair. Wire brush for any tougher rust or just use a Scotchbrite pad
L22EEW
Been thinking about slapping some paint on my front calipers. Definitely not painting my circle things, [aka rear brake drums] lol. I had red calipers on my Clio, but the red paint kinda got grubby after a while. Wondering what colour calipers would look good on frozen white? Willy
Just go with some shiny silver front calipers and gloss black drums. They do look quite good and aren't to "in your face"
