Went into tesco today for fuel. Came back out and noticed my traction off light was on. Pulled over and checked menus but still on. Tried cycling it but actually wouldn't let me. Drove on and about 200yds along road it went out. Went a 30 odd mile run which also involved stopping, starting etc and all has been fine. I haven't seen the light on again.

    Most likely just a light glitch possibly if it was still on in the Engine Menu - If it happens again I suggest just popping by a dealership and just asking them. - Do not book it in for a check just rock up and get someone to have a look.

    Actually this wasn't my traction off light. It was the higher one that lights as it activates. However it stayed on which according to manual is a malfunction, in which case it disables it. Since this little episode I've gone various journeys up to 130 miles without it reoccurring. If it does go again I've got another 2 years warranty so should be ok
