So this morning I set off to work and it was pretty cold (ish) and I couldn't help but notice how much more perkier the car felt! Any reason for this? Denser air=more oxygen possibly?

    Colder everything means more power, simple. your inlet will on outside air temp and not the usual 90C plus.

    Cold everything . . but not a cold / cool engine, cold / cool engines are inefficient.

    Cold air is more dense and therefore more petrol is added to the mixture hense better performance!

    As above, but just make sure your engine warms up before booting it :)
