Mk7.5 Fiesta Zs - Remap, Air Filter Suggestions!

Hello!

I am interested in remapping my 1.0 125hp ZS Fiesta and I am between Superchips and Mountune MP135.

The warranty is not an issue, nor the price (in my country, it is almost the same price). So, I would like to ask which is the best solution. When I say best, I mean, which one really makes a difference without causing any trouble, if not both!

I think that I am more into Superchips. I have read most of the posts here, referring to Superchips and I think it suits better for me. Also, as I have read from posts, Mountune is not such a thrill.

So, the questions:

Does it pull for a (claimed) 150hp? Has anyone experienced any problems? What about the mpg during everyday, easy driving (dropped, same, increased)?

If someone has experience with either of two remaps, please share your experience!

I am also considering of fitting a K&N air filter!

I understand that there are many topics refering to the same subject, but I think I haven't seen one with reviews from both remaps.

All suggestions are welcome!

Are you having the map put on or using Bluefin?

First impressions as I promised!

To answer my own questions: Yes it pulls for a claimed 150hp!!! You can feel the difference from the first gear, but even better from the second. The difference is above 2,5K rpm all the way up to the limiter. The turbo "whistle" is a liiiiittle bit louder (not at all irritating), and I am not the guy who wanted anything extreme from noise. So, I am very pleased from the result!

The mpg is the same (I drive a specific route to work everyday), when you drive in normal conditions! I could even say for sure, that I saw a tiny drop on the mpg. Here we have l/100km, and I think it is dropped by 0,2 l/100km. You have to do the math for mpg. I will have better results as the time goes by.

I had the map put on.

In conclusion I am really excited with the remap and I highly recommend it!! I haven't mentioned the air filter as I haven't got one and I don't think I will.

Nice! I think you may have convinced me! Though I'll probably just order the bluefin.

You will not regret it!!! I had been thinking it since last November, until last Friday when I booked the remap. I know it is only the first day i got it but I am thrilled! I hope my thrill lasts for long

I got the remap without losing the warranty from a Ford dealer. That is why I didn't do it on my own.
