So ive got a new 15 plate fiesta from ford last night as mines in for work.

Tonight I'm stationary in a que and someone bumps me it's caused a tiny dent in the boot. I've got all the details from the guy whose car was a company car, ford said they need to claim off my insurence if necessary not sure where I stand as I'm on fords insurence they said??

Any help guys appriciated.

    If its a courtesy car the Ford dealer can arrange insurance and should have handed you a hire agreement with the T&C's. Read that and see what you are liable for, there may be an excess to pay or you are fully covered.

    I thought with a courtesy car you're covered by the dealers insurance, a bit like when you go for a test drive?

    I've dropped it off this morning, my insurance isn't effected they said I'm covered.

    I had to pay the excess but will get that back one they claim it back of the other guys insurence.

    I had a car off our ford dealer and read it and was 500 excess if a had a crash in it,there insurance.

    But as you said get it back,i try and walk it now or someone to pick me up etc
