Hi all,

Iv searched this but cannot find the answer.

Just took delivery of a new ST2 and I am wondering if the secret compartment area below the stereo is accessible with the airbag lights?

Iv read ll the posts for the previous models but got stumped when I saw the airbag light.

Any photos will be appreciated.

    It was accessible on the mk7 (was just a plain plastic flap the popped open) but I think they've done away with it now the airbag light is there . May be wrong though

    It's still there but the door isn't hinged so needs "popping" out every time and has a plug and wire going to the light unit so dangles down, so no practical way of using it to be honest.

    Just about fits a smart phone in and box of tic tacs, so as Clive's said pretty pointless using it.

    Would probably leave it then. As others have said it was a pretty useless space and don't you want to be repairing your St Already! Aha
