Radio Losing Signal

I got my misses a fiesta in January it's a 64 plate and the radio keeps losing signal and making a white noise sound I took it to people's and they said they have factory reset it and it should be fine but it is still happening any ideas what could be causing it? Many thanks

    This is a Sony DAB system.

    Mine's making really bad crackles/pops and cutting out altogether at times (often when there is rain/water on the outside of the vehicle).
