Clutch Slave Cylinder Slipping

ive recently changed my slave cylinder with the part in pics and i let my sister have a drive on private land and the rod keeps slipping off the clutch pedal is there any way i can repair it with out replacing the who slave cylinder?

    That part is actually the master cylinder but however that's irrelevant really.

    You can use a good cable tie, small jubilee clip of get a star shaped washer from ebay.

    just done the zip tie trick ill give it a try later as I have to get another part for her will let you know how it holds
