Bought A Fiesta Now Changed My Mind?

Featured Replies

I bought a 2014 fiesta around 6 weeks ago, i have paid the first payment on it however i would now like to return it. How would i go about returning it to them ending the finance, and the perhaps starting fresh with another car for example a focus? I don't want to part exchange it i want to end the finance and start again, incase i go else where for a car.

Thanks for your help

Jon

Contact ford credit for a settlement figure, then hope the value of your car is more than that figure,

Probably best to go into a dealer and check with them .

Why do you want to return the Fiesta and change it for another car? How long will you have to pay for it?

Getting out of a car finance is in most cases (not always) a bad deal, wich means you'll loose money.

You will most probably loose a lot of money, I know that's not what you wanted to here!

How comes the sudden charge of heart?

depends if PCP or loan, if PCP then you can hand it back and probably lose a few hundred £, if it says Fixed loan agreements IE to buy the car outright with no final payment or mileage restriction then you simply cannot, you have to sell it and lump the cost.

Or the other route involved a lorry, tree or post and about 25MPH head on impact and a forfeit of no claims.

Good idea- Credit free but whiplash and a conviction for fraud instead.

Good trade off- not!

As clever as taking out such an agreement in the first place, all about action and consequence.
