Hi there gearbox in my 04 ranger has just gone and need to fill up with oil what spec is required for gearbox and transfer box? I was given 97sx-m2c200-ab by ford but I cant find any oil has the spec been superseded? also would anyone know if its the same oil required in an 04 fiesta?

    75w-90 is the grade for ranger, fiesta is 75w-90 synthetic, so yes will do both ok

    Hi does the spec matter and does the ranger require a fully synth?

    Fiesta is synth due to no oil change interval, ranger has regular oil changes so synth not essential
