Nipper449
When are ford going to start making good looking fords like they used to. they started going downhill when they did the stupid kinetic design which looks horrible, they need to make cars like they used to make like the granadas, especially the coupe , also the mk1 escort one of the best looking cars and still much more popular and loved by most people. is it too much to ask to have good looking cars with out stupidly huge headlights that go half way up the bonnet and plastic bumpers that cover half of the car, which also isnt very safe compared to what cars used to be like. if you have any comments feel free to add them :D

Foamy
i may be a bit of a newbie to this kinda 'scene' but im going to happily sit on the fence on this topic. i really love my mk3 fiesta and i also love the newer boxier ones as well as the latest model. But im very much mostly a fiesta lover. (apart from the mk2 strangely). The new ones fit the style of the moment, just like the mk1's fitted the style of that day. There may not be a (gorgeous) DB9 style to Fords but they have always happily had a mid-range style to go with their lower price. You get alot of looks for the money i think. Wouldnt stop me getting a DB9 if i could though obv ;) Ali

The plastic front has more give than metal but the design of today’s cars means you will have a better chance of survival with less injuries in an accident. And I also think the fiesta is one good looking motor B) (not keen on the current Focus though)

Bagheera
There's also a stupid resemblance between Citroen's C4 and the revised Focus 2, especially on the front. I miss the good old days when the original Focus rocked Europe, with its sharp, clear, triangular lines. Geometry was in every aspect. Now I drive my second Focus, a first edition Focus II, and I enjoy driving it however I don't feel the impression I had on my first Focus. Jcoventry
I really dislike the styling of the new Ka. The rest of the current lineup isn't bad - new Fiesta is nicest. I'm not too fond of most new cars, some are alright, but...this, I cannot agree with at all:

I have a mk1.5 focus in tonic blue and think it looks absoutly smart in a common but different way (its tweeked so no orange indicator lenses etc) although i do love the newer look to the ford range i just think there so different from the german boxes most people have. They look alot more fun and "fresh" than most of the nwere cars out there thats just my personal view though. Merry crimbo all Mike

The granada may survive...but the person you hit won't and you will have treatment to you back/spine/neck/knees and ribs for years to come!!! :) i think the Fiesta is one of the best looking Fords to date...and I love classic!!! The Mk2 Escort, Mk2 festa, Anglia, Escort Cossie, and new Focus RS are among the best in my opinion! :)
princess maria
i'm sitting on the fence some of the classics are beautiful aswellas some of the new models :-)
Knight Focus
I can't really think of any Fords, from any decade, that I haven't liked. Obviously, I have favourites such as the Mk2 Escort and the original Cortina. The new Fiesta is gorgeous but the latest Focus is a bit bland compared to the Mk1, of which I have now owned 2, which "broke the mold of family car design", to quote an overly used phrase. The new Ka looks too tall to be sporty, but I don't dislike it. Just my pennies worth. Mike
Paul D
i miss the good old Ford Cosworths, RS Escort, Fiesta & Sierra, they were a thing of beauty. gone are the days of individuality and breaking the norm. Used to love the woosh ofthe turbo in the Escort cossie, stuck the the seat stuff love it!
artscot79
well when i was a nipper my old man had a gloss black capri im sure it was a 2.8 with the leather upholstery and that bonnet that i loved it was perfectly glossy black with those alloys it came with black lip on them which my old man did if i could ide have one in a heart beat but for more modern cars i hate the fiesta ive never liked the shape at all the ka is a horrid little rustbucket particularly beneath the petrol cap i love the style of the mk1 focus which was why i bought one it still looks good at the front and it still stands out ford lately have lost it a bit but i saw the newer mondeo in silver and it did look good i would have one of those the rest do nowt for me except the old xr3i and the mexico the anglia etc the newest ford is minging i hate it dont find it exciting it looks like a halfbreed of vauxhall and kia
