Wiper Judder

Featured Replies

I have had my Fiesta for nearly a month and I think it is great. The only downside is when I use the wipers they judder. My dealer has ask me to bring the car in when I have done 1000 miles for a check over so I will mention it then. I have tried cleaning the glass but it made no difference so I am asking is it curable? I have had this on some cars in the past and never been able to get rid of it.

Also does anyone know what gets done on the 1000 mile check? This is my first new car so it is all new to me.

Nothing much, lights levels tyre pressures,

get them to replace wipers and have screen cleaned again, all foc of course.

It's possible that it's just like a sealant or protective layer over the glass. Alot of ceramic glass coatings cause wiper judder till they've smoothed off.

Or it could just simply be that the wipers havent quite softened up yet

Try cleaning the blades with vinegar.
