Hi all. I'm looking to pick up a Fiesta fairly cheap and this one has caught my eye.

I've been in contact with the owner and managed to get some further information.

It comes with no service history only logbook, he has had it serviced in his ownership.

2 previous owners

It's been parked up for a month since he now has another car.

Not sure about the cambelt, the guy don't sound English, so it's hard to understand texts.

I may go have a look at it, anything I should keep an eye out for?

might be the light but has the rear bumper been replaced?looks a different shade. and the dent in back? might have had a bump.

i bought one same year with 100k on clock,it had just had full cam belt kit and i replaced all the engine mounts as they were shot but it's been fine.

check the obvious,oil colour,white smoke from exhaust,engine noise etc.

Thanks for the tips. Would it be a good idea to ask the seller for V5 number, so I can check the MOT history?

My mk6 used to fill up with water in the passenger door. Maybe check for rust around that area for both doors. (Could well be a one off thing with my car)

Well I asked him if I could have the V5 number and he said no. I ran a HPI check and it came up as CAT C so good spot on the bumper!

the doors all fill up if you don't keep the holes under the door clear.

I would not buy it.

I'd stay away personally, for that price you'll find one that's HPI clear. Just keep looking
